View a Character Frequency List
Clicking on the Character Frequency tab displays the current character frequency list. Three are available on the Frequency List main menu. The first, the dynamic list, is generated by Chinese Toolbox as you import Chinese text. The other two are published and are available online. One of the published lists is based mainly on simplified characters and the other, on traditional characters. In the Settings dialog you can specify whether or not to show extra details in these lists. Detailed view for the dynamic list is probably the most useful; it shows not only the total number of characters imported, but also the import count of each character.
